When it comes to driving on the road, I like to be courteous to drivers just as I would expect them to be courteous to me. But once in a while, you run into that one dill-weed driver who cares only about them self and thinks the world revolves around them. I'm referring to drivers who do not use their blinkers to let oncoming traffic know that they are turning. Okay, so I don't use my turn signals 100% of the time but that is because I don't use them when there are no other vehicles around. However, when other cars are present, I use them all the time.
I get really upset when I'm trying to exit my apartment complex to turn left and inconsiderate drivers turn into the same complex without using their blinkers. Not only do I need to wait before they make their turn so I can ensure its safe because some people use this turn-in as a U-turn junction, but in that same instance - had that driver use their turn signal, I could have made the green light 50 yards away.. but now I need to sit through the whole light since this intersection is a no right on red. AARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!
And since we are on the subject of blinkers, how about those who use them in excess. I'm referring to those freeway drivers who change lanes but forget to turn their blinker off. I go nuts when I see this sort of behavior because I'm the type of driver who will let another driver in front of me if they use their turn signal unlike those who just jolt in front of me while driving like a bat out of hell... RAGE!!!
Okay, now I feel a little better; end of rant.
Dude, I don't even know where to begin. This has to be the absolutely most irritating thing someone can do while driving. What really gets me going is the *** hats who NEVER use their signal, FOR ANYTHING. Gee, you'd think an expensive flippin' car would be equipped with turn signals!? How bizarre! Oh, no, that's not it - you're just an ***hole!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite are the ones that use their turn signal at the last possible second! For instance, a guy is turning right off of a main road in to a shopping outlet. The guy starts to slow down, doesn't signal... starts to turn right in to the lot, still no signal... completing turn, SIGNAL! Hey, you remembered to signal AFTER YOU ALREADY TURNED IN TO THE LOT! WOW! It's the thought that counts, right!? Argh. You got me going, man! Thanks for the vent!
This is something you can write on and on about. All we can do is grind our teeth and move on. They'll get theirs one day. One day.

ReplyDeleteFurthermore, I am convinced all drivers of Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers are complete morons who lack respect and purposely try to piss you off with their horrid driving skills. The real winners are the ones with 22" wheels and a loud exhaust that provides absolutely no benefit but on the other hand bolsters the driver's already enormous ego and inflates his metaphorical hardon even further; only to subsequently increase their proficiency in pissing other drivers off. We are doomed.
